Chautauqua Trail in Boulder

- Difficulty: Moderate
Located at the base of the famous Flatirons, this trailhead has various out and back routes that will get you up close and personal with the striking rock formations that helped put Boulder on the map. The First and Second Flatiron Hike trails will take you through a sunny meadow of wildflowers before leading you into the forest, so be sure to bring plenty of water and sun protection. Emerald Lake Trail in Rocky Mountain National Best

This is one of the most popular hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park thanks to the trail’s final destination, which is the gorgeous Emerald Lake. On this trail, you’ll enjoy views of alpine terrain, the sparkling lake, and plenty of wildflowers. Mount Bierstadt near Idaho Springs

Mt. Bierstadt is one of Colorado’s 58 peaks that reach over 14,000 feet above sea level. Because of its “14er” designation, this mountain is a popular destination for those who want to conquer Colorado’s tallest summits. Over the course of this 7.8 mile out-and-back hike, you’ll climb 2,765 feet in elevation. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for long haul of a hike. The Incline in Manitou Springs

For those looking for a physical and mental challenge, the Manitou Incline is the hike for you. This set of stairs climbs 2,000 vertical feet to the top. And once you reach the top you get to trot down another three-mile trail back to the bottom. Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride
